đźš™ Parking | The city will not be utilizing a shuttle service this year. Use these tips for easier parking: - Attendees should look for street parking near the park.
-
Kentucky Avenue, which runs adjacent to the park, will be closed to traffic.
- The Woodland Triangle intersection, where High Street + Maxwell Street split, will also be closed.

🍔 Food | Vendors from across the state — 24 to be exact — will be serving some of the best bites that Kentucky has to offer. Here are a few we’re looking forward to trying: -
Hot Buns | Steamed bao buns served with chicken, pork, steak, or mushrooms
- The Mousetrap | Voted “best deli” + famous for its pimiento cheese
- The Flying Waffle | Craft Belgian-style waffles with your choice of savory or sweet toppings
🍺 Drink | While the food vendor setup forms a semi-circle, look for West Sixth, Country Boy, Lexington Brewing & Distilling + Equus Run Vineyards to be set up inside the semi-circle, forming a Biergarten-style setup.
Pro tip: Food + drink purchases can be made with either cash or card at each individual vendor.
🎸 Entertainment | Over the course of the two-day festival, 12 different artists will be performing. Get to a few of the headlining acts below:
🖼️ Artists | This year’s festival will feature 190 artists. Here are four to be on the lookout for as you explore the festival: |

Former women’s UK basketball player Rhyne Howard was crowned the 2022 Associated Press WNBA Rookie of the Year. Rhyne was the No. 1 Draft Pick in 2022, selected first by the Atlanta Dream. We think she looks better in blue, personally. In the WNBA, she is currently averaging 16.2 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game + 2.8 assists per game.
In 2021, she led the Wildcats to a historic SEC Tournament title. Rewatch the Wildcats’ epic victory against the South Carolina Gamecocks — sorry, not sorry, COLAtoday. This season, the UK women’s team is welcoming a slew of new players to the 2022-2023 roster — nine to be exact. Here are three players to keep your eyes on this season: -
Adebola Adeyeye | a transfer from Buffalo who helped the Bulls win the 2022 Mid-American Conference
- Eniya Russel | a transfer from the University of South Carolina who helped the Gamecocks win the 2022 NCAA National Championship
- Zennia Thomas | a freshman at UK who finished her senior year of high school averaging 30+ points per game.
Check out the team’s full conference schedule for the 2022-2023 season.
